<back to the list of photographic works
Starting from black and white photos of one of the best known monuments of Berlin, the exhibition wants to introduce to a less known, „hidden“ face, building a portrait of the city focussed on what makes of it something particular and perhaps unique among the great capitals of Europe. Under the „grey“ official „façade“, the coloured world of torn placards, containers that collect the rubble coming from the renovation and the (re)construction of entire parts of the city, graffiti, sprayed walls, in which the human work superposes to that of rust and time...
I want to show the beauty of this face, something that would not appear in any guide for tourists
However, I am not intersted in the simple documentation, in the faithful reproduction, in the „reportage“. For me the shots are the starting point for experimentations with printing techniques, to produce „my own“ works.
